Lessons in life!
We all learn different kinds lessons from time to time whether educational, philosophical or learnings of any other kind.
But who do we consider a teacher matters. What are the other insights related to such people who teach us.
We as humans often regard those who teach us as at schools, colleges and universities as teachers or professors but underestimate many other facts:
• that each and every thing in this universe literally teaches us whether they are atoms can be in terms of revolving around the nuclear and changing orbits according to its polarity or planets revolving around sun (being consistent the same position or changing and evolving as well)
• that people who surround us or the people we surround keep on teaching us lessons. They can be from a stranger, friends, family. People of different professions whether they are literate or not, it doesn't matter. The lessons and wisdom can come from a postman or a kid.
• that experiences we have throughout our lifetime teaches us every single moment.
• that our first, best and wholesome teachers can be our parents.
• that those who we aren't in good terms with can teach us lot. Bad people, bad experiences, bad characters. We can often learn what are actually the right things to do and can differentiate between wrong and right due to them.
• that as I wrote before nature, fire, water, colour, trees any other element can give us lessons.
Teacher meaning 'शिक्षक/शिक्षिका'(shikshak/shikshika) or 'अध्यापक/अध्यापिका'(adhyapak/adhyapika) in hindi explains that they are the onces we recieve teachings from 'शिक्षा'(shiksha) or teach us 'अध्याय' (lesson/chapter)
Being a teacher, simply being in this profession doesn't mean that all we learn are all good. Learning the right things matter a lot.
Many a times things doesn't come under right or wrong they lie just in the grey zone and letting them be there is also a lesson:)
One more thing when you are teaching something or someone's trying to learn or hearing you with patience don't make fun out of it or make them feel small about it. It takes a lot efforts at times for someone to learn something totally new to them and teaching, learning are one of the greatest कर्म/karma(act of performance/profession/occupation/work) one can do so the intentions in both processes should be pure.
It becomes important that we admit and respect the lessons we learn in life. Life comes with a time span for everyone but not with a count of what we learn.
